My daughter had fit when she saw this. we have a new cat and now all she wants is a picture just like this one! Thanks for the post. All Baylee talks about is getting pictures made of her "kitty". This is really priceless...of a stalker because they really do look like this when they are out on a "hunt". Great capture of the moment.

This was captured with a 300mm f 5.6 Cannon lens on one of my half frame DSLR's
Hand held outside in the bright sunshine
The long lens did two things, allowed us to saty away from the cat and not disturbed it's journey
and create a background totally out of focus
I rarely use this lens but it was puuuurfect for this !
